Show Miss Beryl Bown Is Married Wednesday Miss Beryl Bown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bown of this city, and a prominent leader in the younger young-er social set, was married Wednesday afternoon at Salt Lake to Douglas Bergeson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Eph-raim Bergeson of Cornish. The ceremony cere-mony was performed in a private parlor par-lor at the Hotel Utah, and in , the presence of immediate members of the two well known families, at one o'clock. Immediately following the marriage, a wedding dinner was served serv-ed complimentary to Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bergeson. The bride, a native of Gunnison, has spent most of her life here, with the exceptions of her absence I at colleges and training schools. She i attended the high school of Gunnison j for two years, later completing her j courses at the B. Y. U. high school at Provo. She also spent three years at the Agricultural college at Logan, Lo-gan, finishing with an enviable record rec-ord as a student in dancing, art and literature. Mr. Bergeson is widely known throughout northern Utah, where he has resided since his birth. He completed com-pleted his education at the Agricultural Agricul-tural college, graduating from that institution with high honors. He was active in social functions and athletics. ath-letics. Mr. and Mrs. Bergeson, the newlyweds, new-lyweds, are expected to arrive in Gunnison the last of the week, and j soon after they will leave for Los . Angeles and other Southern Califor-1 nia points on a two weeks honeymoon trip. Mr. and Mrs. James Bown, parents of the new bride, Mrs. Howard Norman, Nor-man, a sister, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Jones, were among those from Gunnnison attending the marriage ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Bergeson, after their return from the coast, will go to j Logan, where they plan to make their home. ! |
