Show Programs Mark Closing Of South Sanpete Schools This week marks the closing of the schools in Gunnison and vicinity. Tuesday evening the stake seminary held graduation exercises in the Gunnison Gun-nison ward chapel. Wednesday, the Washington school presented certificates certifi-cates to thirty-nine students, and to-' night, Thursday, the Gunnison Valley high school will award diplomas to thirty-two graduates. The school year has been highly successful throughout through-out and the cooperation of the teachers teach-ers of the district, together with the management of the school board, have made it possible to carry on for the full number of weeks, in spite of the strenuous financial conditions. Commencement exercises for the senior class of the Gunnison Valley high school will be held in the high school auditorium this, Thursday, evening. A splendid program has been arranged for the event, at which time thirty-two .students will receive diplomas. Dr. I. O. Horsfall of Snow college will deliver the address to the graduates, and several numbers will be rendered by members of the class. The program, which will begin at 8:30, follows: March of the Graduates Selection. The best of music has been se-I se-I cured for the occasion. Seminary Graduates Thirty-Two. Graduation exercises of the Gun-i Gun-i nison stake seminary, which has been under the supervision of the able in-j in-j structor Roy A. West the past school year, were held at the Gunnison ward chapel Tuesday evening of this week. , Thirty-two students, who had com-1 com-1 ploted the seminary work in the local institution, were awarded diplomas, and an appropriate program was carried car-ried out. ; The program began at 8:00 in the ' evening, and was highly interesting 1 and impressive throughout. A splendid program was presented in the Gunnison Valley high school auditorium, the numbers, for the most part, being given by members mem-bers of the class.
