Show National Help For Sanatorium The movement for a state tuberculosis tubercu-losis sanatorium will receive impetus next month when Utah is to be visited by T. B. Kidner, of New York City. Mr. Kidner is the consultant for the Veteran's Bureau at Washington, D. C, on the erection of federal hospitals hos-pitals for the tuberculosis ex-soldiers, and is also institutional director for the National Tuberculosis Association. He is the authors of many authoritative authorita-tive works on hospital planning, and assisted European countries during and after the war in providing and equipping the proper institutions for taking care of the gassed soldier and those suffering with the dread "white plague." According to advices received by James H. Wallis, executive Secretary of the Utah Public Health Association, Associa-tion, Mr. Kidner will arrive in Salt Lake City on October 14th, and will spend the following week in organizing organiz-ing the campaign for the proposed State Tuberculosis Sanatorium. While here he will deliver two addresses, one on "The Tuberculosis Movement: Some Reminiscenses and Forecasts;" the other on "A Modern Tuberculosis Sanatorium." Extra efforts will be made to secure a large gathei'ing of prominent persons for Mr. Kidner's talks. Mr. Kidner will also inspect several proposed sites for a state institution. in-stitution. Mr. Wallis states that already al-ready volunteer offers have been received re-ceived by the Utah Public Health Association As-sociation of tracts of land in Salt Lake County for this purpose. At a recent meeting of the Commission Commis-sion appointed a year ago to take steps for a state sanatorium, Hon.
