Show Teachers of Stake Hold Convention The first Relief society teachers' convention to be held in the Gunnison Gunni-son stake, proved successful throughout through-out and nearly 120 teachers were present to take part in the program and enjoy the splendid luncheon prepared pre-pared and served at 2 o'clock by the ladies. In addition to the attending delegates there were some 60 more who were guests. The convention was held at the high school building Tuesday afternoon. Preceding the luncheon a half hour was spent in "getting acquainted" and enjoying a social time, and following the luncheon, lunch-eon, the following program was given: Opening Song "We Thank Thee. Oh God, for a Prophet." ' Invocation Mrs. Ida L. Frand-sen Frand-sen . Ladies Chorus By Fayette ward, under the direction of Miss Flossie Mellor. Address "The value of the teacher teach-er to the organization," President Amelia C. Larsen. Talk "Teachers' monthly report book," Secretary Vivian Larsen. Vocal solo Sylvia Metcalf. Talk "Ethics of ward teaching," Counselor Angie Willardson. How to introduce the teachers' topics in the home was cleverly presented pre-sented in the form of a demonstration demonstra-tion by Clarice Larson, Clara Bards-ley Bards-ley and Inger J. Jensen.
