Show LOCAL ITEMS OF INTEREST Mrs. Edward Christensen and Miss Sidonia Christensen, who spent the past winter at Los Angelc, have returned re-turned from the coast. They report a delightful time while away. Will J. Gledhill returned to his work at Dividend Saturday after spending several days with Mrs. Gled hill and children here. I Mrs. G. D. Peery, who has been tak ing special treatment at Salt Lake I City, has returned and her health is J greatly improved. Mina Beauregard, who spent three weeks at Salt Lake, returned to Gun- nison Monday afternoon. While away Mr. Beauregard underwent a Slight operation at a Salt Lake lios-' pital and his many frineds will be glad to know that he is very much improved in health. Byron Fjedlsted, a student at the B. V. at Piovo, was an over Sunday visitor with his sister here. He returned re-turned to school Monday. IT. A. Kearns, representing the Occidental Seed company, went to Xephi Monday. lie will meet officials offi-cials of the company there and later ne will return to Gunnison and some jf the officials will accompany him. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Sorenson !iave returned from Eureka, where 'Ir. Sorenson has been employed at ''he mines. They expect to remain in Gunnison for the summer. Sanford Anderson left for Gold Till, Utah, Sunday of this week. Mr. ; Anderson has secured a good position .vith one of the big mining companies there and he expects to be absent indefinitely. Mrs. Gwynne Lewis and daughter, vosina, were passengers to Salt Lake Sunday. They will be absent two .veeks or more visiting with relatives. Fred J. Fjeldsted, instructor in nusic at the Snow college at Eph-iam, Eph-iam, was visiting with frineds here ast Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. C. W. Perkins is spending a evv days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. .Villiam Perkins at Provo this week. 'She went to the garden city last Saturday. Sat-urday. . Members of the Hamilton relief jociety met at the home of Mr. and Airs. George Petty Monday afternoon and enjoyed a social time. A short program was given and a light luncheon lun-cheon served. The visiting members eft a number of "bundle presents" tor Mr. and Mrs. Petty. W. Harvey Ross, president of the 3unnison Sugar company, came down from Salt Lake Tuesday. He will re-nain re-nain until the last of the week look-ng look-ng over his business interests. A fine baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hendrickson yester-. yester-. lay afternoon. Both mother and daughter are doing fine. Mr. Leo Gledhill was the delightful delight-ful hostess to sixteen members of I die R. N. A. club last Saturday after-; after-; .toon.
