Show Fmil Iiosenvall, who has been at Salt Lake for the pa:;t year or more, is in the city for an extended visit with relatives and friends. Miss Elna Fjeldsted returned to Gunnison last Friday after having spent several days visiting with her brother, Fred Fjeldsted at Ephraim. Mis. R. C. Palmer entertained for the Royal Neighbors Monday evening ; of this week. The annual election was scheduled but as many of the members j were out of town the election was postponed. The guests, however, were royaly entertained at "500" and in the contest Mrs. Lavor Voorhees captured first prize. The hostess served dainty refreshments at a late hour. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Anderson of the ! Hotel Gunnison, and Mrs. John S. 1 Peterson, returned Sunday from Salt Lake. They spent several days at the capitol city combining business with pleasure. Tom Taylor of Ephraim, was a business busi-ness visitor to Gunnison the early days of the week. .loo E. Jensen, the well known Axtell Ax-tell farmer, left for Council Bluffs, Iowa, Tuesday morning. Joe will join his wife there and will spend some, ti-K- visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Sam - V'eiser, former residents of the valley. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Whitlock are reviving the congratulations of their h isU of friends over the arrival of a fi le baby boy at their home. The baby came Sunday and both he and his mother are doing nicely. |
