Show Ask Fnrollment For Training Camp Instructions have been received by Colonel T. M. Anderson, commanding I the 104th (Frontier) Division Organi- zed Reserves, Salt Lake City, Utah, to open the campaign to secure enrollments en-rollments for the Citizens Military . Training Camp. The area to be covered cov-ered by this army headquarters consists con-sists of five states, Montana, Wyoming, Wyo-ming, Nevada, Idaho and Utah. The main camp will be held at Fort Douglas, Utah, June 12 to July 11, 1925. The quota of the number to be trained has been tentatively set at 720 candidates until more information in-formation concerning the appropriation appropria-tion of funds is received. A secondary second-ary camp will be held at Fort D. A. Russell, Wyoming, for students in the advanced courses of Field Artillery and Calvary. It is expected that 140 candidates will apply for this training. train-ing. In that better facilities exist at this post, the war department contemplates con-templates better and more interesting interest-ing instruction for this class of students stud-ents by having this separate camp rather than combining it with the cirriculum at Fort Douglas, Utah. It will be held at the same time as the local camp. Colonel Anderson believes that the quotas will be rapidly filled. Last year the young men of the inter-mountain inter-mountain territory displayed so much enthusiasm for this period of outdoor life and training that caused this section sec-tion of the country to stand ahead of all others in supporting the C. M. T. C. idea. The same enthusiasm is expected ex-pected this year. The old custom of considering applicants ap-plicants in the same order as their application ap-plication blanks are received will prevail. pre-vail. This indicates that any young man who expects to attend this year's camp should submit his formal application appli-cation without delay to receive first consideration. Any further information wSl be furnished upon request by Headquarters Head-quarters 104th (Frontier) Division, G05, 611 Commercial Building, Salt Lake City, Utah. |
