Mr. and Mrs. Ira Overfelt delightfully delight-fully entertained the members of the Tuesday Evening card club at their home last Saturday evening. The us- ual card contest at Five Hundred was held and there was a spirited eon-test eon-test for the' prizes offered. Mrs. W. J. Gribble captured the ladies prize i while the gentlemen's prize went to ! H. W. Cherry. At ten o'clock refreshments re-freshments were served and the hostess hos-tess was assisted by her' daughters, Misses Lois and Helen Overfelt. Mrs. J. A. Hagan was ho&tes to some twenty friends at a progressive Five Hundred party at her home last Friday afternoon. Mrs" Libby Peterson Pet-erson wpn' first prize while th second sec-ond was awarded to Mrs. Wm. Dack. At five o'clock delicious refreshments were served by Mrs. Hagan, being assisted as-sisted by. Miss Christy Madsen. o Progressive Five Hundred was the pastime afforded the guests at an anniversary an-niversary party given by Mrs. J. ft. Roper at her homo last Saturdayvaf-ternoon. Saturdayvaf-ternoon. Twenty guests were invited. invit-ed. In the card contest Mrs. H. P, Jensen won first prize while the second sec-ond went to Mrs. Albert McKenna. Mrs. Roper served a delicious luncheon lunch-eon to her guests. ' Mr. And Mrs.'W. H. Gribfcle" were hostess to a number of friends at a Five Hundred card party Monday evening of this week. Twenty-eight guests were present and a most delightful de-lightful time was spent at cards at which prizes were awarded to Mrs. C. N. Jensen and C. W. Perkins. At ten o'clock a delicious luncheon was served by the hostess, Mrs. Gribble being assisted by her daughter, Miss Gladys Gribble. r |
