Show moved to Axtell where they will reside re-side permanently. George Christensen of Neola, Iowa, is in Axtell as the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. James Jacobsen. He expects to remain here for several weeks. Ivan Sorenson, who underwent an operation for appendicitis at the Salina hospital some four weeks ago, has recovered sufficiently to be able to leave the hospital. He is now with his sister, Mrs. Leslie Jensen at Axtell. Ax-tell. Mrs. C. B. Sorenson is spending : the winter at Ephraim. ' j V AXTELL NEWS ITEMS. Axtell, Oct. 25. Royal Whitloek, Lillian Jensen and Leah Christensen, faculty at the Axtell school, were among those who attended the Utah Educational association meeting held at Salt Lake last week. ' Mr. and Mrs. Earl Whitloek have returned to their home after a trip to Grace, Idaho. They were called there to attend the funeral of Mrs. Whilock's brother, Fred Jensen. The latter was accidentally shot near his home on October 15th. "A friend in need is a friend indeed," in-deed," and as such we found the peo-pel peo-pel of Axtell and we want to thank you all for the many kind acts and deeds done for us during the long siege of illness at our home. A. staged a pleasant sur-; sur-; prise for Mrs. Caroline Morley, former for-mer president of the Young Ladies Mutual Improvement association. Games, music and a good time were enjoyed.
