Show accompanied his wife and son to th( city, returned home Tuesday evening. Jack Connell left Wednesday morning for Eureka. He expects to spend thf winter at the mining camp working ir the mines. Mrs. Connell will remain ir Gunnison for the present. Ira Overfelt, local agent for the Denver & Rio Grand railroad, is bacli from a trip to Salt Lake City. Mr. Overfelt was among the delegates frorr this city attending the State Road com mission meeting last Saturday. The Bos Art club members were entertained by Mrs. Daisy Jensen or Wednesday afternoon of last week The regular reading was given bj Mrs. Fred Jones. Following needle craft work the hostess served light refreshments. Local News Miss Vera Down came in from Provo this week and she will remain here until after the holidays visiting with her parents. Miss Marion MacPhail, of Saratoga, Wyo. , is the house guest of Miss W.G. Huls. Miss MacPhail will be here until j after the holidays. Mrs. H.P.Jensen, who has been visit-,' ingwith friends and relatives at Los Angeles, for the past two months, is expected home this evening. Wendall Perkins is here from Provo where he has been attending school. He will spend the Christmas holidays in Gunnison with his parents. Miss Alice Pierce, who is a student of Provo schools, returned to Gunnison Wednesday of this week. She will spend the holidays here with her parents. Benj. Brown, who has large farming interests on the west side, came in from Salt Lake the fore part of the week. He spent the major portion of the week looking after his various interests here. LaBarth Fjeldsted, who has been attending school at Provo, came in last evening from the north. He will spend the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Fjeldsted. Mrs. J. W. Jones and son Robert, left for Salt Lake last Sunday. . They expect to be absent until after the holidays visiting with Mrs. Jones' parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Winder. Mayor Jones, who I |
