Show Mayfield Doings. (Special Correspondence.) The J. S. club met at the home oi Mrs. Clarence Scow last Wednesday evening. The evening was delightfully delight-fully spent. Reading was given by Mrs. Vivian Larson. Needlecraft was the feature of the remaining evening. eve-ning. Luncheon was served at 11 o'clock. The Social Circle club met at the home of Mrs, J. N. Christiansen Wednesday evening. Mrs. Christen-sen Christen-sen gave an interesting reading. The hostess served a dainty luncheon at 10:30. Misses Dora and Rhoda Anderson returned to their home here last Sunday evening. The freshman class met at class i meeting last Monday. Their class name and colors were chosen, their colors being crimson and gold. Hereafter Here-after they will be known as the Pio-I Pio-I neer class. Plans are being made for an in- teresting program which will lie the ' main feature for Christmas holidays. Last week the men and boys from the north side of the creek played baseball against the boys and men from the south side. The players from the south side proved themselves them-selves to be the winners. They will 1 be honored by a big dance which will I be given Friday by the loosers. 1 |
