Show SERVICES FOR MRS. PICKETT Impressive funeral services were held for Mrs. Rosetta Pickett at the R. S. Hall last Saturday afternoon. Brief services were held at the homo prior to taking tho remains to the hall and were conducted by Adolph Peterson, Mr. Poterson, Joseph Mellor, Austin Kearns and John Larson Lar-son were the speakers. A selected choir rendered appropriate music. Following the church services the body was taken to the city cemetery where it was consigned to the final resting place. Mrs. Pickett passed awny the early part of last week at her homo In Gunnison. She was S3 years of age and up to some three weeks beforo her death had enjoyed comparatively comparative-ly good health for one of her age. The deceased was born In England in 1837 and came to Utah, shortly after joining the L. D. S. church to which she had been a constant member mem-ber and worker. She was tho widow of John P. Pickett, wtio passed away in Gunnison several years ngo. Mrs. Pickett is survived by four boys. George and Jeremiah of Gunnison, Gunni-son, Charles II.. "f Fayette, mid Brigham. of Canada, and one daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. J. It. Jensen of Grace, Ida. The latter. was here to attend the funeral fu-neral of her mot her. |
