Show DECORATION DAY j Was liefittlngly Observed by the Gonil People of Brigham City. Decoration Day was well ob-I ob-I served in Brigham City. All pub-j pub-j lie houses were closed and business busi-ness generally suspended. Last I Saturday reaily appeared like a I Sabbath, or quiet holiday. Up to 2 o'clock, our cemetery was the center of attraction, Many dozens of willing hands, to help beautify the place, and scores of friends, who came to decorate the resting places of their dear ones, with beautiful beau-tiful flowers, gave the cemetery a scene of unwonted animation. At 2 p. m. the memorial services in the Tabernacle began. The building build-ing was well filled. The program was elaborate and most benttingly appropriate. The addresses, recitations, reci-tations, songs, etc., were all choice j and admirably rendered. The assembly as-sembly was highly pleased with the program. Credit' is due President Presi-dent Clawson and his Counselors for the success of the day's exer-i exer-i cises. |
