Show BUILD YOUR OWN HOMJ3 At this time, when business structures struc-tures and apartment houses are going go-ing up on all sides; the thoughts of the man of small income naturally turns to possibilities of building his own home. From hoth the economic and social so-cial staintlpuint, there is no more important im-portant question before the people than the building of real homes. Living in apartments is not cheap and cannot be made so. Cheap living liv-ing contemplates the family's doing for itself much that it cannot do in an apartment house. An apartment house or a flat is an impossible place in which to raise small children. The public playground is a poor substitute for one's own back yard, properly equipped for the kiddies. It should be the aim and ambition of every man to own his own home, and it is the part of good citizenship to help in making that not only possible, pos-sible, Tntt practicable. |
