Mrs. Robert Stubbs and daughter, Elaine, are in the city and are the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Halverson. Mr. Stubbs will shortly return to Richfield and later she will join her husband at Rock Springs, Wyo. Byron Fjelsted, employed at the smelters at Toolele, is spending a few days vacation with relatives in the city. Byron sustained a slight burn on his foot while at work but will be able to resume work the last of this week. R. K. Stubbs, formerly manager for the J. M. P. Stores company at Gunnison, was a brief visitor to Gunnison Gun-nison last Friday. Lennn Rosenvall was a traveler travel-er to Los Angeles, Calif., Monday of this week. She will join her husband hus-band who recently went to the Southern South-ern California metropolis. Fred N. Swalberg of Marysvale was here several days this week looking look-ing after business matters and visiting visit-ing with his daughters, Misses Mel-ba Mel-ba and Mary Swalberg. Miss Edith Bartholomew of Goshen is in the city for a week's visit. Before Be-fore returning to her home she will spend a short vacation with relatives at Fayette. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Halverson of Salt Lake, were visitors in Gunnison Gunni-son over Sunday. They were the guests of friends and relatives until Tuesday whe nthey returned home. Mrs. Amelia Ward, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Jacquline, of Chico, Calif., are in Gunnison and will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Metcalf for a week or ten days. Mrs. Fred Jones entertained Tuesday Tues-day afternoon at an anniversary party for her daughter, Gwendolyn, it being the latter's second birthday anniversary. Some twelve guests were present. Miss Helen Ward, who has been residing re-siding at Seattle, Wash., is the house guest of Miss Lucile Sorenson. Mi-s 'Ward will be here for a week and then will accompany her mother to i California where they will reside. Mrs. A. C. Lund and daughter, Phyllis, and Mrs. C. N. Jensen are guests at the home of Misses Vio and Lucile Sorenson. The visitors Duggins, have returned from a month's visit with relatives at Provo. Pro-vo.
