Show Sanpete County Fair Will Surpass Previous Events Everything In Readiness for the Opening Open-ing Next Wednesday Stock, Agriculture Agricul-ture and All Exhibits Will Be Attractive Attract-ive and Pleasing. (By Glen Jensen, Secretary.) Excellent, enjoyable, .extraordji-inary .extraordji-inary entertainments engaged, a splendid program, will please you perfectly. We want you to come and hear the band play, mix in the mirth and merriment, and have fun by the ton. Meet your friends and their friends at our great exposition. One of our big features this year will be the aerial stunts performed by the aviator, Rex Smith, and his companion, Frank Dorbant. Their dare-devil stunts will thrill you and entertain you. Provision has been made so that they can land on the fair grounds. You can see an aeroplane aero-plane at close hand, ask questions from men who know. Each day they will carry passengeis for a fifteen-minute fifteen-minute ride. You who are anxious to be among the clouds for awhile can get the experience anyone of the Fair days. Mr. Smith is offering to the best looking girl in Sanpete a free ride the first day of the Fair. Girls, put on your best. On Friday, September 9, Governor Gover-nor Chas. R. Mabey and staff will be on the grounds and give a short talk. We know he he will carry a message. Come early and get a grandstand seat to hear him. You who were at the Rodeo during July 25 and 26 will remember little George Fisher, the 12-year-old phenomenal phe-nomenal cowboy. He has been employed em-ployed for Fair week. To see his spectacular riding Is worth the price of admission. With him is his brother Ernie, noted for his riding and bull-dogging. Three cowboys from Mt. Pleasant, the Burton brothers broth-ers and Dave Jones, have also been engaged. Those who have seen these boys work know of their ability. Anyone having an unbreakable horse or mule, bring him to the Fair. We guarantee he will be ridden. The ri'eatest value of a Fair is the edma'.ional, namely: In seeing the best results of your neighbors' efforts. ef-forts. Tho livestock exhibit promises prom-ises to be exceptionally good this year. The breeders of pure-bred animals an-imals will be, represented from all parts of our county. Our exhibition bv.ilding will be filled with Sanpete's best in agricultural, educational and manufactured products. The second day will be given over to the baby contest. Mothers are asked to have their babies in the Manti Commercial club rooms at 10 o'clock Thursday forenoon. Aside from the scientific scoring of fie babies, the following prizes will be given: 1st. 2nd. County physicians physi-cians will be in attendance to do the scoring. . The awards will be announced and prizes given at the exhibition building build-ing the following evening. The roads through the county are passable for any method of conveyance. convey-ance. The concrete road north of Ephraim is open for two miles. Careful Care-ful arivers will find no trouble pass1 ing the part broken up into Ephraim. From here to Manti the road is good. Cars coming from the south, when reaching Manti, take the street one block west of Main street until you reach the fair grounds-Provision grounds-Provision has been made with hotels ho-tels and lunch counters to take care of those desiring lodging and meals; Remember, NEXT WEDNESDAY, THE BIG SHOW STARTS!
