Show Educators Pay Visit To Gunnison City Principal C. L. Johns of Wasatch academy, Mount Pleasant, Mrs. Johns, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Gardeman, Miss Glenna Hullinger and Miss Anna Thomas, of the faculty of the academy, acade-my, were the guests and entertainers at a well appointed gathering at the Presbyterian chapel last Monday night. The affair had been arranged by Miss Josie Curtis, local missionary! for the Presbyterian society, and at her solicitation the guests from the north end of the county visited Gun-lison. Gun-lison. No set program had been arranged ar-ranged but the numbers given by the visiting members, together with that uy Rev. Russell Wolts, proved highly jiitertaining. Principal Johns, in his introductory remarks, stated the objects ob-jects of the visit, that of. getting acquainted. ac-quainted. Mr. Gardeman spoke of his department, the business education, educa-tion, and his listeners were highly entertained. en-tertained. Mrs. Gardeman and Miss Hullinger also spoke and Miss Thomas Thom-as of the domestic art and science department de-partment of the academy gave a lengthy discourse. All ot the speakers speak-ers were warmly received. Following the program-refresh-; menta of ice cream, cake and coffee were served and an hour or so was spent in getting acquainted. |
