Suddenly Larsen . dropped to the ground as if he had been shot. He was conveyed into a house, where he soon revived, but was very weak, and big drops of perspiration per-spiration stood out on his forehead like so many beads. In the fall, Larsen struck his chin on a rock, cutting ah ugly gash which had to be stitched. He cannot account for the strange power that thus struck him down without warning, but twice in bis childhood days bis muscles and senses were paralyzed by this unseen foe. |
