More than were present and the hoys, ssisted by Scout Master Mas-ter Hoy Mmlsen. gave all a good time. The treasury of the Scouts j was enriched $14 'JO, and the youiv fellows are grateful for the hearty support given them. The ladies of the Presbyterian Missionary society, in compliment to Mrs. Clyde Jay and Mrs. S. I. Borton. gave a social at the church last Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. Mrs. Jay and Mrs. Borton expect to leave shortly and some thirty ladies were present at the Tuesday gathering. The afternoon after-noon was spent in doing fancy work, and music was furnished the guests. Refreshments were served and the ladies who gave the social are grateful grate-ful to the Telluride Power company for the use of several electric percolators perco-lators which were used in supplying delicious coffee for the occasion. SOCIETY Mrs. A. Villard entertained Saturday Sat-urday evening in honor of, her son, Waldo, it being his thirteenth birthday birth-day anniversary. Thirteen guests were persent, and an enjoyable time was had by those present, playing games and enjoying music. Waldo received a number of birthday presents. pres-ents. At 10:30 Mrs. Villard served ice cream and cake to the guests. o The annual gathering of the John J and James Mellor families, either by birth or by marriage, promises to be a big social feature in Fayette county coun-ty this coming spring. Mrs. Sylvia Mellor, secretary of the genealogical society, announces that the festivities festivi-ties will be held "at tHe amusement hall at Fayette, June 11, 1920, and |
