Show Local News J. R.' Tilby of Ephraim, spent last Saturday and Sunday visiting with his son, J. V Titby at Gunnison. Mr. and Mrs. Larence Hermansen of Fountain Green, were the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Hermansen last Sunday. ' E. P. Cox, ranger for the Manti Forest For-est Reserve, was tratsacting business in Gunnison this week. George Fisher of Manti, spent Tues- ' day in this city looking after business interests. j Mrs. Hyrum Christiansen of Mayfield, , who ha3 been the guest of her parents, j Mr. and Mrs. Joe Williardson, for a i week or more, returned to her home last Sunday. Mrs. Tina Peterson and Mrs. J. L. Niebon of Ephraim, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Childs last Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Helmet Peterson of Axtell are rejoicing over the arrival of baby boy at. their home. Dr. F. 0. Bulock and Mr. Nelson of Salina, were looking after business matters in Gunnison last Saturday. Richard Gardner, Antone Christen-en, Christen-en, Lorenze Manglesen and Peter Sorenson, all of Levan, were Gunnison visitors this week. The gentlemen are prominent stockraisers and were here looking for thoroughbred horses and cattle. Henery McKenna, Sr., the man that built the first house in Gunnison and who has interests in this section, was in the valley from Manti this week visiting with his son, Henry McKenna ; of Centerfield. |
