Show Bids Fair to Meet Success A deal of interest is already being manifested in the work offered by the Gunnison School of Music which is announced to open June 5th in this city, under the direction of Fred J. Fjeldsted. A goodly number has expressed their intention of taking either voice culture or instrumental music or both. So the school bids I air to be a success. It will likely be held in the Washington school building, or, possibly in the Von Nor-eeck Nor-eeck block. One ol the big features which wil contribute more thn usual interest, will be a big musical festival to be given at the close of school, when all those who are prepared will show, either in vocal or instrumental parts, what they have accomplished during i the summer school term. Each will appear on the program at the musical musi-cal festival which will last three days. Mr. Fjeldsted states that he desires i to entertain no applications except from young pupils who are in earnest and who won't trifle. Mr. Feldste4 also intends to organize organ-ize a good big chorus, and desires also to organize a big rousing band from the best talent both at Guuuison and Ceuterfield. |
