Councilman Snow motioned that the Mayor, Selectmen Pi eh and Steed, assisted by City Attorney Jeiison, formulate formu-late an ordinance fixing and governing rates for the supply of water from water works for the inhabitants in-habitants of Brig ham City. Carried. Car-ried. Assessor Peterson iiresented the assessment roll, which was accepted by the Council. On motion of Councilman Rich, amount of tax on assessed property in the city for 1892 was fixed at one-half of one per cent., or five mills. It was motioned and carried that the Assessor be allowed a compensation compen-sation of 10 per cent, of amount of property assessed; also that the Council meet on Tuesday, July 12, at 10 a. m. as a board of equalization. equaliza-tion.
