Show High School Items. Reported by Wendell Perkins Seven students took part in the try-out for selecfion of the debating team. All who took part, however, I gave creditable talks. Ira Mace, I Miss Dora Beck and Miss Isabell Jan-i Jan-i son were selected for. a debate with Monroe high school, on the question: "Resolved, that the United States ! should immediately put into operation opera-tion a policy which will result in a substantially increased standing armament." This discussion will take place in Monroe the last part of February or early in March. Supt. D. IT. Robison visited the school last Monday. He gave the students valuable advice and spoke approvingly of the school's condition. The "hard times" dance given by the school's Home Economics and Ag club last Friday was a huge success. Everyone present enjoyen themselves to the utmost. i A high school vaudeville show will be given in the theatre, March 9. |
