We are having lots of snow and plenty of cold winds from the north. The County Court has changed the county road at Point Lookout. Tnstead of crossing the point at the usual place, the road now crosses what is called Salt Creek, on the section line, on township eleven, etc. Instead of making several turns in the road, why nut run it straight cast and cross the Malad River at the corners of sections ;i and 10,12 and II? This would avoid sleep banks as at Indian bridge and the settlers have promised some of the right of way and some work on Hit: road, if taken east across to Deweyville station. The I ndian bridge will have to be moved down to the section line, if the high waters don't do it next spring. Kami Yir.w, Jan. 27. J. C |
