Tuft of Centerfleld, vice-presidents; vice-presidents; Mrs. Charlotte Villard of Gunnison, secretary, j Intelligence to relatives In this city is conveyed to the effect that Mrs. Samuel Edwards, a former resident resi-dent of Gunnison died on Wednesday of this week at a hospital in Idaho. Funeral will be held this Friday at 1:30 p. m., at Sterling, this county where Mrs. Edwards resided before coming here. Relatives and a number of friends from this city expect to attend. at-tend. The G. A. club held a very interesting interest-ing session yesterday with Mrs. Addle Ad-dle Burns as hostess. Mrs. Burns served luncheon after the meeting had adjourned. Present besides thirteen members were Mrs. S. F. Martin, Mrs. J. S. Peterson and Mrs. Sophia Erickson. A special meeting of the club will be held at the Instance of Miss Curtis at her residence res-idence next Friday at 2 p. m. A leading social event of the week was that on Tuesday evening, when Mrs. C, N. Jensen entertained the Social Circle club In a box party at the Casino and a luncheon at the Elite cafe. Besides the hostess were Mesdames Ray B. Metcalf, A. M. Chrlstenson, E. L. Swalberg, R. C. Swalberg, T. M. Kearns, M.D. Beauregard, Beau-regard, C. E. Halverson, Jas. Bown, Julius Dugglns, Lovell Childa. Mrs. T. M. Kearns will entertain the club October 25th at her new home. Manager N. L. Hermansen of the Hermansen Roller mills, this city, has for some past maintained a supply warehouse at Salina. lie has just completed another at Marysvale, and which is in charge of Willis Chris-tensen. Chris-tensen. Mr. Hermansen employ sin his flouring business six hands steady and can handle all the wheat crop cf the valley. He is to ship a carload, of flour this Friday to his Marysvale warehouse. |
