Show COLLINSTON. Our town has at last awakened from its winter lethargy. During the past week there has been an unusual activity in trade and travel. The staging facilities to Mahul are to be increased by a new line, so says rumor. The lime and quarry interests appear to be developing in large proportions. The irrepressible D. P. Tarpey, the proprietor, has been soliciting orders or-ders for placing 20,000 tons of rock on the cars and several parties of distinguished looking strangers have been over the properties this week. The "May party ball" at the opera house was the largest of the season. We need a barber, a blacksmith and a teacher of a private pri-vate school for the summer months. Travers. Collinston, May 2. |
