Show vide a sinking fund equal to two per cent of the total bonded indebtedness. Acting under this authority the levy was fixed at 6.5 mills for the year 1916. These local levies produced the following: 1915 1916 District tax $33,403.16 $33,394.47 County tax 10,208.96 Forest reserve etc. 2,002.91 not reported $45,615.03 STATE TAXATION. In the year 1915, a state levy for elementary school purposes of 3 mills was made. In 1916 the levy was fixed at 2.2 mills. The money collected from these levies constitutes a general gener-al fund which is distributed to the J various school districts according to the school population. The property assessed in South Sanpete contributed to this fund in 1915, $7,424.71 and the school district received from it $5.35 per capita, |
