Show Hih School Notes (Reported by Vesta Pierce) The s-chool board has been fortunate in securing th services of Mrs. Humphreys as a member of the teaching teach-ing force in school. Mrs. Humphreys wjll begin teaching next Monday. Peterson's hall has been secured for gymnastic work and basket ball. Each student will be allowed a certain length of time once every week In this work. . The farce entitled 'The Spinlsters Convention" given by the juniors in Wednesday's assembly was a decided de-cided success, the juniors making excellent ex-cellent old maids. Ruth Perkins who has been ill with diphtheria for some time is improving improv-ing and is expected back at school in the near future. The dancing party given by the freshmen last Saturday night was well patronized and a good time was had by all. The decorations in the class colors, blue and red, were very effective. The school teachers of South Sanpete San-pete district met at Manti last Saturday Sat-urday and formed a teachers organi- j zation, the purpose of which is to further the welfare of the teachers, material, professional and social Mr. Miller, principal of the Manti high school was chosen president, E. D' Jensen vice president and Princi- pal Frischknecht secretary and treasurer. j |
