Ilaydon expects to preach regularly regu-larly here and in Salina. A delicious supper was served the Oleofans by Miss Geneva Edwards last Tuesday evening. The usual hour In sewing was supplemented by amusement in card playing. The Home Economics association will meet at the home of Mrs. Elsie K. Bartholomew, on Monday, January Janu-ary 11 at two p. m. The program to be rendered comprises the following: Reading from "A Montissori Mother" Mrs. O. I. Rasmussen; paper, "The New Year," Elsie K. Bartholomew; receipts for fruit cakes, Mrs. John Knighton; butter making on. the farm, Linda Jensen. M. Hermansen has leased out to his son, N. J. Hermansen, the roller mill he recently erected in this city, and moved back to Ehraim. The lessee Is an experienced, miller and states that customers will have the privilege to return any flour not satisfactory. In other words, the ' flour from Her-mansen's Her-mansen's roller mill will be guaranteed guaran-teed of the best quality. Gunnison is now favored with two practising physicians, Dr. J. H.Peck recently of St. Maks hospital, Salt Lake City, having this week opened an office In the Gunnison Valley bank building. Dr. Peck besides maintaining main-taining an office In Gunnison will have office hours at Fayette, Mayfield and Centerfield a half day respectively each week. D. Peck has residing with him in this city, his mother and sister. |
