Show Court Proceedings The jury sitting in the case of the Ephralm Milling and Elevator Co. vs the City of Ephraim returned a ver-dlct ver-dlct in favor of the plaintiff and a-gainst a-gainst the defendant, after being out deliberating the case for about six hours, and assessed the damages at :$500. Ellis R. Carter was granted a divorce di-vorce from William H. Carter, on the grounds of alleged cruelty and failure to provide. She was also granted jthe custody of their minor children and alimony in the sum of $10 per month. Defendant's bill of exceptions in ' the case of Parian McFarlane against W. P. Winters and Glen Winters has been signed and settled by the court and an appeal will be taken to the supreme court. |
