Singing by thechoir. Prayer by Elder David Booth. Singing. Sacrament administered j bv the Priesthood of the Second Ward. Counsellor Charles Kelly read the 15 chapter of Corinthians. Singing. Apostle Lorenzo Snow occupied the pulpit. Said no person should enter the building without having a desire to learn something. and no person should occupy the position he now filled without having a desire to instruct and teach something some-thing that would be beneficial to those present. It was a pleasure to him to be in a position to be a benefit to the peoplo. He had been in this vocation for fifty five years and felt well in his labors. Spoke of our existence in the spirit world, and the labors of Peter and the rest of the apostles in their day and time. Spoke of the Assyrian leper who was counseled to go and wash ' in the river seven times in order to be cleansed, but he considered it so simple that he thought it was foolish fool-ish to do such a thing, yet he was made whole. Referred to the labors in the temple. Quoted the 24th chapter of Isaiah in reference to the time when it would be as with the priest so with the people; as with the master so with the servant; because of the changes that would follow the introduction of the gospel in the last days. We have such experiences today that the ancients had when they were laboring upon the earth. Our ex-i ex-i periences in these days will bring the same results. Our labors in the temple are of the most sacred nature and there is a sanctity with everyone that enters into the sacred precincts of those beautiful temples and all that labor there feel its hallowed influence. We have great promises by our obedience to the Savior. We can gaiu the blessings bless-ings that are promised. We should see to it that we try and do our duty in order to be worthy of His favors. The speaker declared that his knowledge was perfect as far as the gospel is concerned, as much so as it was to Peter when the Savior Sav-ior consulted him on the subject, when Peter declared Jesus was the son of the living God. Showed what would be the result to all those who will follow the counsel of those that are set to lead and direct the people. We know our duty. Gave some good and wise counsel to the congregation to at- tend to duties in the temple and be prepared to meet our friends in the spirit world, and especially if we have done work for them.
