Ex. F. W. Gilmore, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Nichols, who, has been in Utah for the past year, started for his home in Mapleton, Minn., Thursday. He speaks very favorably of Utah and hopes to be able to pay his Utah friends another anoth-er visit in the near future. In setting up the Democratic county convention call last week a line was left out, making it read as though the county convention was going to nominate a delegate to Congress, when it should have been that delegates were to be chosen to the Territorial convention which is to nominate the delernte. The B. 0. Woolen Mills have opened up their tailor shop and sample room in the Armeda block on Main Street. They have a fine line of home manufactured goods on exhibition. This home enterprise enter-prise deserves all the business the people can consistently turn in its way. Dentist Milton W. Snow was down from Logan this week, returning re-turning Wednesday evening. He and C. E. Snow were out to Bear River fishing Tuesday. They captured cap-tured 150 fine chubs. The fishing in the river is lively sport at present pres-ent owing to the shallowness of the water. A party of gipsies was encamped on the northern part of town this week. They consisted of a wild, ferocious looking old man, a handsome hand-some young gallant, three women, a child, several horses and jacks, two bears, three monkeys, a hen and a rooster, each of the two latter being tied to the tent by one leg. The hears and monkeys were performers perform-ers and their little circuses on the : streets attracted the usual attention. WMIHM BELLS. I1A0LRV-RASMUSSEN. At the Salt Lake Temple, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Sept. 5th, Hyrtim Jensen, son of Peter Jensen of Mantua, and Miss EmmaStohl, the pretty and; refined daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 0. N. Stohl of this city, were joined in holy wedlock. Both bride and groom are well-known and popular young people of this city and vicinity. The groom is one of our City Council men and rejoices in the confidence and respect of the people. He is a school teacher by profession and has a bright future ahead. The ceremony took place in the Salt Lake Temple Wednesday and the contracting parties are S. Clarence Wixom and Miss Argenta Valentine, daughter of Mrs. Mary Valentine. The bride is one of Brigham City's prettiest and pleasantest daughters, numbering number-ing her friends and relatives here by the score. The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Wixom, is a steady, reliable young man, having been employed for over four years in The Buci. eh mechanical department depart-ment in which vocation ho has given entire satisfaction, being punctual, trustworthy and faithful at all times.
