Show WASHINGTON SCHOOL NOTES. (by Leah Christenson) The second grade A witli Miss Charlotte Char-lotte Parry as teacher, has the best record in attendance and punctuality for the past week. Miss Mary By-water, By-water, in charge of the fifth grade is doing excellent work. The- sixth grade A and the seventh grade held examinations during the week. The "Star" will hold a dancing party par-ty in the R. S. hall Friday night, March 12. This will be a party strict: ly for the young folks, under adult management The playground gets dry occasionally, occasion-ally, and when it does everything is baseball. There is every evidence of putting a good team in the running this spring. The "Star" meeting held last week was well attended. Among the in- teresting parts were a retold story by Miss Charlotte Parry and a lecture by Ferd Alder. During the week a sack of garden seeds was distributed, one package to each family having a pupil in school. If there should be any families who have not received of these seeds they can do so by calling at the school. |
