Gcmht It 1 11c ii burn Dleti From ah Inter-mil Inter-mil Rupture. Joseph Gerald Blackburn, age 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. II. Blackburn, died last Sunday. It seems the youth was ruptured when a babe. A week before his death he jumped from a fence and was again hurt internally, from the effects of which he died after a week of sulTering. Gerald was a fine young fellow and had many friends and chums among the youth of this city. The members of the family have the sincere sympathy sym-pathy of ull in their great alll'ic- tion. (Com munlrtitetl.) The funeral services were held Wednesday in the Second Ward meeting house. Bishop A. Valentine Valen-tine pres;dod. Prayer by P. C. Christensen of Sanpeto. The pall bearers were 'Gerald's Sunday School classmates, viz: Ephraim Christiansen, Willie Merrill. David Morgan, Wallace Bode.-, Morten Morten sen and Leo Jensen. The procession was headed head-ed by the Sunday School class of which Gerald was a member. Appropriate remarks were made by Khlers W, L. Watkins, Lorenzo Jeppsnn, Leslie Nichols, Conn. Charles Kelly, Pres. R. Clawson and Bishop Valentine. All paid high tributes of respect to the departed. de-parted. Benediction by Bro. O. N. Stohl. During the services a consoling letter " was read from Pres. Joseph F. Smith. The Collin was lite ra 1 1 y co ve red with flowers placed there by loving lov-ing hands.
