A famous toy shop which has recently re-cently moved uptown onto Fifth avenue present a broad expanse of shop window filled with tin soldiers, dolls of wax and new patent -washable dolls, mechanical teddy bears, hobby horses, toy groceries and toy stables and toy garages, doll houses and every article for a doll's universe, uni-verse, and with each and every creature crea-ture out of Noah's ark, of more or less dimensions and materials. A3 might be expected, this engaging dis play attracts continuous spectators. A long line of interested admirers is to be found before that window from early dawn till dark. Do socks and Curls predominate in the crowd? Oh, not at all. Short skirts and knickerbockers, perhaps? By no means. The crowd that presses its nose against those windows and expresses ex-presses itself in gurgles of delighted longing is made of the sex that votes and of the sex that does not vote indifferently, in-differently, but one and all alike ara of a voting age.
