Show Emperor William Greets Clergymen. Berlin. The emperor on .Monday received in audience at the palace at Potsdam sixty Englis;!i clergymen. He made a brief speech in English, expressing ex-pressing the real pleasure it gave him to see the representatives of the English Eng-lish Christian churches in Germany. He hoped the visit would tend to promote the good feeling between the two kindred nations. Sir William E. Goschen. the British ambassador to Germany, in introducing the deputation, deputa-tion, said that they came in the interests in-terests of peace and good will. |
