Show CENTERFIELD. j April 16 A fine baby girl was born Sunday last to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew B. Anderson. Byard K. Tuft of this place and Miss Rhoda Peterson of Gunnison were married within the week and a big wedding reception given in their honor Wednesday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Peterson. The bridegroom. bride-groom. U the son of Mr. J. A. Tuft.. We Join their many friends in extending ex-tending congratulations. The public school enjoyed outings orj Arbaida. the higher grades at the reaeroir and Sterling coal mines 4nd the other grades to the nearby foothills. The day was ideal for pleasuring but today the weather has become wintry. Due to cases of scaret fever the school at Centerfield will close, except the eighth grade tomorrow for the season, a week sooner than intended. William Woolsey of this place died at his home last Sunday, following a "protracted illness of Bright's Disease. Deceased was in his fifty-eighth year and is survived by a wife and family of six children. Funeral services 1 were held from the meetinghouse this Thursday afternoon. The speakers speak-ers were Austin Kearns and Nephl Anderson of Gunnison. Interment was In the Gunnison cemetery. s |
