Show POUL C MADSEN DEAD. At three o'clock on the morning of Thanksgiving day, November 26,1914, the stern Reaper claimed another of our pioneer men, Poul Christian Madsen aged nearly seventy- three years. Decessed had been in poor health a long time and was confined to his bed the past seven weeks. His wife died two years ago last July and two sons, Niels A. and Martin, alone survive. He was well known in the community, having served as city sexton continuously continu-ously upwards of thirty two years. Born in Denmark February 26, 1842, he embraced the Mormon faith at the age of twenty and emigrated to Utah twelve years later in 1874, locating in Gunnison where he resided until his death. Funeral will be held tomorrow (Saturday) from the Belief hall at one o'clock p. m. i |
