The following lines, composed by a pupil of the fourth grade, Washington Washing-ton school, Gunnison, are here published pub-lished at the request of the teacher, Miss Minerva Mace. A is for apple, so soft and so mellow. Some are red and others are yellow. B Is for bon-bon we eat with delight Around the big fireplace that lights up so bright.'
