Show CENTERFIELD. Aug. 6. Born, August i, to Mr. and Mis. James Jensen, a boy; July 31, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gledhill formerly former-ly of Sigurd, a boy. Levi Myrup is recovering nicely from an illness which on first appearing appear-ing was thought to be typhoid but found since, happily, not to be such. Adam Welker arrived here yesterday yester-day from Arizona to visit a short time with his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Westover. What might have proved a very serious accident occured Monday evening last to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph "Westover. As they were turning a corner while driving in a single rig, the horse became frightened at an approaching motorcycle on which were seated a man and woman unknown un-known to the victims of the accident. The buggy was capsized, the shafts became detached and the top got demolished. de-molished. Mr. "Westover had the presence of mind to retain hold on the lines and thus kept the animal from escaping. He was cut about the neck and face, while Mrs. West-over West-over was severely bruised on the side by having fallen on the edge of a heavy water can. Principally from the shock received she has since been confined to her bed. A baby she heid in her arms fortunately escaped any in.1ur.v whatever. |
