OCR Text	Show RIOTS IN BUENOS AYRES. Twelve Killed and Many Injured on May Day. Buenos Ayres. Twelve men were killed and over one hundred injured in a clash between May day mani-i'estants mani-i'estants and police on May 1. The conflict was provoked by an anarchist, who killed the horse of one of the policemen with a bullet from his revolver, at the same time wounding wound-ing the officer. According to official statements, other anarchists fired upon up-on the police, wounding four more officers. of-ficers. The police charged their assailants with drawn swords and revolvers, fired into the mob and struck right and left with their swords. Five of the rioters were killed on the spot and twelve were seriously wounded, so that when the fusillade was over the streets appeared littered with dead and dying.
