Show Seattle Banker Convicted. Seattle. R. F. Parkhurst, formerly assistant cashier of the First National: bank, charged with embezzlement of $50,000 from that institution, was! found guilty by a jury in the federal! court Saturday. His peculations, as: shown by the evidence, extended! through fifteen years, and were covered cov-ered up by manipulation of the bank's1 balances in San Francisco, Chicago' and New York. Bank officers from those cities were witnesses against1 Parkhurst. and brought records that showed his operations. Parkhurst stod high in banking circles. |
