Show CENTERFIELD. Mable Myrup tha eight year old daughter of Henry Myrup, died Friday Fri-day morning last of Eright's disease, following an illness lasting for nearly a year past. Her funeral service took place at three o'clock Sunday from the meetinghouse. Elders C.H. Christiansen and foren Anderson each spcke consolingly to the bereaved and mourning friends assembled. The singing was appropriate ap-propriate and affecting. The remains re-mains were interred in the Center -field cemetery. A Eepublican rally at this place Tuesday evening was addressed by State Senator G. A. Iverson and County Chairman L. R. Anderson. Good singing was also a feature of the rally by Miss Sperry and Miss Anderson of Manti. Schools are running nicely and things generally in a prosperous condition, con-dition, though we have been more or less in darkuess the past week due to the replacing of the power line through this section. A ball is to be given in the opera bouse this Friday evening for the purpose of aiding the public Bchool in the purchase of a piano. Mrs. Margaret Duffin of Gunnison is Epsnding a few days with her daughters in Centerfield. Mrs. Oscar Carlson, who has been a visitor here the past week from Bingham left yesterday for Salt Lake Miss Ella Bywater of Silt Lake is visiting relatives here. |
