' The Halloween party given by the school Friday last proved a success, featurcssuitable to the occasion being be-ing presented for the entertainment of invited guests. Professor Hogenson visited the school Monday and organized classes in agriculture. Made president of the boys' club Is Bennie Roper and that of the girls' Erma Lundeberg. Prizes are offered as an incentive to the work. Again on Tuesday the Professor gave a lecture before the physical geography class, giving an explanation explana-tion of soil makeup, its labor and how the plants grow in it. The class took a trip up Lone Cedar canyon last Saturday and found some fine specimens of sandstone and shale. The Library society will hold its tirst meeting. Nov. 6, the following program to be rendered: Reading of a short story from Brit Ilarte, Cyril Anderson, Original paper, Lowell Rosenvall. Practice in elementary parliamentary parliament-ary law, directed by Mr. Ricks. Short talk on literature, Miss Winder. |
