Show CENTERFIELD. Feb. 6- A reorganization of the local commercial com-mercial club took p!ace Tuesday evening, ev-ening, with the following officersbip effected : President, C. Embley; vice president presi-dent J H Roy lance ; secretary C. P. Larson ; treasurer A. L. Fjeldsted ; additional directors George H. Fish-jer Fish-jer Smith and Lewis Swenson. By appointment from the town board Saturday, Richard Jensen now wears the star and tends to the ringing ring-ing of curfew. Charles H. Embley has been appointed ap-pointed by the board of county commissioners com-missioners to succeed himself as justice of the peace for Centerfield preciuct. Miss Dora Nielson, who has acted as secretary and treasurer of the Y. L. M. I. A , was tendered a surprise Tuesday eveuing by the members of the association. Miss Nielson expects to leave Saturday or Sunday and pursue a course of training in the Holy Cross hospital as nurse, The religion class here will be given the time at next Sunday's ward services after sacrament to hold a celebration of Lund day. Mrs. R. L. Lund is taking a course in kindergarden at the Suow academy, acad-emy, having been called to that duty by the Sunday school. Interesting letters were read at Sun-i Sun-i day's meeting, from Elders Henry Christiansen, Junius S Embley and Andrew Jensen, expressing their appreciation ap-preciation for the money sent them in the miesiou field as a Christmas presaut. All three of the missionaries mission-aries are feeling well and say they are doing a good work |
