Show MAYFIELD. The A. A. A. Club met last Friday evening at the home oT Miss Pearl Whitlock. Several piano selections were rendered and the hostess served a dainty luncheon. The members present were: Ethel Andeison, Angie Nielson, Lottie Scow, Zedonia Dorius, Pearl Whitlock and Merlin Christiansen. Christian-sen. Mrs. Joseph Nelson has returned home after living in Nevada for some time. A number of relatives- and friends called at the home of Mrs. A, F. Larson, Lar-son, last Tuesday the occasion of her thirty second birthday. Alter holding school until 11 o'clock Friday last the pupils and faculty all went into the nearby hills and partook par-took of luncheon, around a large campQre. Various games were afterward after-ward enjoyed, as was the pleasant sunshine. Mr. and Mis. G. T. Olson, Sr., spent Saturday with friends here. The Misses Whitlock aud Christiansen Christi-ansen of the public school faculty, left Thursday morning for Ephraim to visit th9 schools there. 2?he ward meetinghouse is beiDg cleaned aud calcimined. A movement has been inaugurated for the erection of a new $15,000 chapel iu Mayfield ward. A building committee has been choseu aud all are trying hard to push the work, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Douglas have returned from Panguitch after visiting visit-ing there some time. j Saturday morning last a 9-pound baby girl was born to the wife of H C. H. Eogh. |
