Johuathau is the jovial fellow as of yore aud hands out a shake that puts oue bck to the boyhood days of ' Lit-, tie" Andrew, Aus. Kaaras, Al Tuft, Bardsley brothers and a lot more of i those warm-hearted ''society" boys of the 60's and 70's. Tuft of Centertield. The concert given Thanksgiving eve by the Mutual officers proved to be an enjoyable affair. It opened with a special selection by the orcbes tta followed by a ladies' chotus of twelve voices, a most pleasing rendition rendi-tion directed by Miss Emily Larson. 1 Another of Miss Larsou'w vocal con tributions of decided merit, "Love Shall Guide," was a duet of exquisite blending sang in company with Mrs. Eva Witbeck Jeuseu. Mrs. Villard aud C O. Lunderberg each appeared j in merited declamations of humor, and Miss Wieser, Messrs Francis and llalverson iu selctious instrumental. A doubl i quartette led by E. L.
