Show FOLliTH OF JULY. f'rogmiu In The Tabernacle and Fire Work it nt Night. The following is the program arranged ar-ranged for next Wednesday, July Fourth: At sunrise the stars and stiipes will be raised on the Court House flagstaff and cannon salute fired by Alex Baird. At 9 a. m. musketry salute by local company of Utah National Guards, under Captain H. D. Page. At 10 a. in. the people will meet in the Tabernacle, wherethe following follow-ing program will be rendered: Called to order by Mayor John D. Peters, Master of ceremonies. Music by the choir. Prayer by the Chaplain. Choir Singing. Declaration of Independence read by Miss Nellie Gillespie. Song by Rev. S. L. Gillespie. Oration by Judge E. P. Johnson. Music by Silver Comet Band. Patriotic sentiments responded to by Mrs. L. T. Peircc. F. W. Fish-bum, Fish-bum, Mrs. C. W. Horshy, J. M. Coombs and Mrs. T. M. Kvans. In the afternoon the people will choose their own recreation, but the races at Johnson's track south of town will attract most of the crowds. At 9 p. m. there will he a fireworks fire-works display at the park west of the Tabernacle under the supervision super-vision of L. Berg, Jr. There will he a grand ball atnight under the auspices of the firemen. |
