| Show cattle growers meet here the southeastern cattle growers association met here on friday february 3rd hugh colton of ver nal utah vice president of the utah cattle and horse growers assoni aaion and chairman of the public lands committee addressed the meeting many range problems were discussed and a profitable meeting was enjoyed A steak dinner was served the members at the arbon cafe cate alfred king is president of the association and hazel ekker secretary there were a number of grand county cattlemen in atten dance A meeting of the cow bells w was held at the home of mrs andrew andre hunt mrs hugh colton and mrs george adams of vernal were gue ats A display of rock and mineral specimens was enjoyed mrs colton who had just returned from a four months tour of europe gave some delightful experiences of her trip and mrs adams who is nine ninety ty years old gave sprightly esc ances of the early days in vernal she personally knew a number of the famous outlaws that hung out in the browns hole country she is a most interesting personality |
