Also that a Negro colony will an ive ere long and take up their abode on a tract of land situated north of Corinne. These Negroes are said to be line looking people, with very little African blood in their veins. It is difficult to distinguish them from dark complexioned whites. They are said to be hard workers and quite well fixed as far as earthly possessions go. |
